Bona Traffic Recommended Uses:
Bona Traffic is recommended for use in both commercial and residential areas that see a heavy level of traffic. These areas may, but are not limited, to include shopping malls, restaurants, offices, stages, hospitals, schools and nursing homes.
Physical characteristics of Bona Traffic:
Ingredients- Water, polymeric resin, dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, 2,6,8-trimethyl-4-nonylpolyethylene glycol ether, and amorphous silica
Color- Milky white when wet
pH – 7.9
Solids – 34% with hardener
Viscosity – (#4 Ford cup @ 25°C) 16-18 seconds
Density – 8.70 lbs./gallon (1.04 s.g.)
VOC Compliant - Product has maximum VOC content of 210 grams per liter (1.8 pounds per gallon VOC).
Gloss Level (60°) - 15-20 for Commercial Satin, 40-45 for Commercial Semi-Gloss
Odor – Non-offending, slight ammonia
Stability – 1-year shelf life in unopened container
Packaging – 1-gallon plastic bottle

Leveling – Excellent

Drying Time - 2 to 3 hours

Application Procedure:
As Bona Traffic is the last layer applied to a hardwood floor, proper application is critical. One must be highly aware of the steps necessary to take in order to achieve the proper results. If you have questions, It is also imperative that a test is done on a separate board to make sure the result Bona Traffic produces is the one desired.
When ready to apply the finish, shake well and insert the included filter into the can. Apply the finish evenly. Allow coat to dry completely before starting another. Overall, the floor should receive a minimum of three coats of finish. An optional sanding may be done at this point with a screen grit of 150 or finer. Allow to dry properly before applying the next layer. Totally, the floor should receive minimum 3 layers of finish.
