Bona Novia Recommended Uses:

Bona Novia is recommended for hardwood floors in domestic areas, such as kitchens, entryways, family rooms and homes with pets or children. It is also an excellent choice for floors that are subject to normal to heavy traffic.

Physical characteristics of Bona Novia:

Ingredients- Water, polymeric resins, dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, dipropylene glycol n-butyl ether and amorphous silica
Color- Milky white when wet
pH level- 7.5 to 7.9
Solids – 30 to 32%
Viscosity - (#4 Ford cup @ 25 degrees C), 19-21 seconds
Density - 8.70lbs/gallon (1.04 S.G.)
VOC Compliant - Product has maximum VOC content of 220 grams per liter (1.8 pounds per gallon VOC).
Gloss Level (60 degrees) - >85 for gloss, 45 to 50 for semi-gloss, 25 to 30 for satin
Odor - Non-offending.
Stability – 1-year shelf life in unopened container
Packaging – 1-gallon plastic bottle

Application Procedure for Bona Novia ™:

The application process for Bona Novia requires you to have a firm understanding of the process as instructed by the product label. Make sure all floors are finished properly before applying, and maintain care after the application is finished.

When ready to apply Bona Novia, shake the can thoroughly and insert the filter into the can. Proceed with application, making sure to spread the finish evenly to avoid buildup. Allow to dry completely before applying the next coat. After the first coat, you may perform an optional sanding with screen grit of 150 or finer. The floor should receive a minimum of three finish coats to achieve optimal results.
